Nexenta GNU/Solaris first test in a vmware hosted on Debian GNU/Linux
Download of the zip file on the sweden mirror
ludo@idefix:/goinfre % wget \ hhttp://www.gnusolaris.org/gsmirror/lth.se/elatte_vmware_alpha4_i386.zip
Time of Day clock error
I uncompressed the zip file, I launched vmware and I started nexenta and I get this error : WARNING: Time of Day clock error: reason [Stalled]. -- Stopped tracking time of day clock

Around 5 minutes later, kernel seems timeout on this problem and I can continue in the start of the system. I will try to investigate it later.
Now I get the gdm prompt
The resolution is too big for me so far.

I need to make a first login with the account root, login root, password nothing, to create my own account and fix my resolution problem.
Adding myhost in the /etc/hosts file
A warning happened when I tried to log in the system about the "myhost" hostname. I did :
root@myhost:~ # echo "127.0.0.1 myhost" >> /etc/hosts
Creation of an xorg.conf file
In this default setup, there isn't a xorg.conf file, therefore xorg are going to use its builtin default configuration.
This configuration is not really perfect for my small 12" screen, so i made a new basic xorg.conf file.
I made my config file with help of informations in /var/log/Xorg.0.log between 2 tags below:
(==) --- Start of built-in configuration --- [...] (==) --- End of built-in configuration ---
At the end I get this config file :
Finally I am connected without any errors and something to my size

Now I am going to can start to play with solaris features
